Chinook Rhythmic Gymnastics Club is the only competitive rhythmic gymnastics club in the city of Calgary. Rhythmic gymnastics is an exciting blend of ballet, jazz and gymnastics - a perfect blend of art and sport. It develops and maintains the participant's flexibility, strength, co-ordination, poise, balance, cardio fitness and confidence, while encouraging each individual's creativity. Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that involves a lot of hard work and dedication.
